Spy x Family anime released a new illustration of Bond, a dog who will soon join the Forger family, as the countdown to the second cour of the series continues. There are only 3 days left until its October 1 premiere date. Fuko Takeuchi, a genga animator, drew the illustration.
The newly released illustration shows a large white dog who is lying and sleeping on a big cushion and the Forger family’s little telepath Anya sitting on the knees and drawing a red line around him, which indicates 3, the number of days left until October 1. Beside her on the right is her pair of small gloves. The written letters in the picture say “Spy x Family – [Bond’s outline] Days Left Until the 2nd Cour.” The character who made the first appearance in the first cour’s episode 11 has the ability to foresee future events and will meet Anya Forger in the upcoming second cour, which you can see in the second trailer.
The anime’s official Twitter account celebrated its 1.1 million followers milestone on the same day, which is an impressive feat for an anime account. You can check already-released countdown illustrations from the links below:

The WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks’ collaborative anime Spy x Family based on Tatsuya Endo’s Shonen Jump+ manga of the same name began in April and ended its first cour on June 25 in Japan with the 12th episode. The second cour will begin broadcasting on October 1, and the manga’s next, 10th volume is scheduled to be released on October 4.
Viz Media licensed the manga for English releases and describes the plot as:
Not one to depend on others, Twilight has his work cut out for him procuring both a wife and a child for his mission to infiltrate an elite private school. What he doesn’t know is that the wife he’s chosen is an assassin and the child he’s adopted is a telepath!
