Iconic Hentai ‘Mistreated Bride’ Celebrates 20th Anniversary!

Nikuyome: Takayanagi Ke no Hitobito, better known as Mistreated Bride, an iconic Oyakodon, MILF, and Bondage hentai, is celebrating its 20th anniversary!

Origin

The hentai is based on Nikuyome ~Takayanagike no Hitobito~ (肉嫁～高柳家の人々～), a hentai manga by the renowned artist Miyabi Tsuzuru, released on June 25, 2003.

Milky Animation Label released the first animated episode on August 28, 2005. With a total of four OVAs, this incest hentai concluded on March 25, 2007.

Story

Mitsuko has always lived a simple life as a housewife, but things changed once she moved away from Tokyo to live with her husband’s family. She never though doing a small favor for her husband’s father would lead into a world full of lust. Now, she is a love puppet for her husband’s father…

Reception

It is not known for certain how successful Nikuyome: Takayanagi Ke no Hitobito was in Japan, but it is believed to have received a fairly positive reception. Abroad, however, it managed to stand out thanks to its hardcore story.

Because of its plot, its striking sex scenes, and the existence of an uncensored version, Nikuyome: Takayanagi Ke no Hitobito is now regarded as a cult hentai.

The hentai was animated by Studio Soul and directed by “Corrida“.
This was the second animated hentai adaptation of Miyabi Tsuzuru’s works; the first one to be adapted was Enbo.
In 2025, a new version of the hentai will be released under the title Nikuyome: Takayanagi Ke no Hitobito Special Complete.
Futami Nagisa, the voice actress of Mitsuko Takayanagi, is also well known for her roles as Misako Amamiya in Enbo and Hiroko Takashiro in the iconic series Bible Black. On the other hand, Haruna Kanbayashi, the voice actress of Sumie Takayanagi, is only remembered for her role as Kaori Saeki in Bible Black.
The hentai received an English uncensored release under the title Mistreated Bride.
In the first uncensored version of episode four, an ending was removed due to its lolicon content.
Nikuyome: Takayanagi Ke no Hitobito is considered one of the most iconic cult hentai, thanks to its hardcore story and intense sex scenes.
