Studio Doga Kobo is animating the series with Sumie Noro’s (Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle) direction. Yuka Yamada (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) is doing the series composition while Nakagawa Hiromi (WATATEN: An Angel Flew Down to Me) is doing the character designs. The anime released its first trailer and key visual in December 2022. The cast of the series includes:

  • Sawada Hime as Cecilia
  • Kaito Ishikawa as Lawrence
  • Haruki Ishiya as Abel
  • Kanna Nakamura as Haiselita Aldridge
  • Haruka Tomatsu as Mel
  • Mai Nakahara as Rebecca
  • Makoto Koichi as Erik

The anime is based on the manga series by Kazutake Hazano, which has been serialized in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine R online magazine since 2017. Kodansha is licensing the series in English and describes the first volume as:
Saint Cecilia is beloved by the townspeople—not only is she elegant and composed, she benevolently shares her wisdom with all who seek it. That is, until the last person has left—at which point she becomes totally hopeless! Only Pastor Lawrence, is keeping the Saint put together enough to do her duties…and though she may test him, it’s all in a day’s work!
