The Quintessential Quintuplets Special Event Announced for April 2023

The Quintessential Quintuplets (Gotoubun no Hanayome) announced a live event featuring the cast of the series that will take place later this year. The Quintessential Quintuplets Special Event 2023 will be held on Yokohama Arena on April 1, 2023 and the tickets for the event are limited.

The ticket application system works as a lottery. Those who have bought the Blu-ray/DVD of the recently released The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie from December 21, 2022, to January 31, 2023, will be given priority in the lottery. Lucky winners will be revealed on February 3.

The Quintessential Quintuplets SPECIAL EVENT 2023 will host the following cast members:

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka – Fuutarou Uesugi
Kana Hanazawa – Ichika Nakano
Ayana Taketatsu – Nino Nakano
Miku Itou – Miku Nakano
Ayane Sakura – Yotsuba Nakano
Inori Minase – Itsuki Nakano

The musical group Nakanoke no Itsutsugo, which consists of the voice actresses of the quintuplets themselves, will be performing live at the event. They are behind theme songs in the series, including the first opening song, “Gotoubun no Kimochi”, the season 2 opening song “Gotoubun no Katachi” and the ending song “Hatsukoi,” among others.

The Quintessential Quintuplets is based on a manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Negi Haruba. It was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine starting August 17, 2017, to February 2020 with a total of fourteen volumes. The first season of the anime adaptation ran from January 11, 2019, to March 29, 2019, and was animated by Tezuka Productions. It followed by the second season which aired from January 8, 2021, to March 26, 2021. The movie premiered on March 20, 2022, in Japan and was animated by Bibury Animation Studios.
