The Skip and Loafer anime adaptation revealed a key visual, along with additional cast information and April 2023 premiere date. P.A. Works is animating the series, which is based on a manga by Misaki Takamatsu. The first trailer for the anime was revealed in June 2022.
Maaya Uchida, Yuka Terasaki, and Megumi Han are joining the cast of Skip and Loafer anime as Yuzuki Marashige, Mika Egashira, and Makoto Kurume. The main cast includes Tomoyo Kurosawa as Mitsumi Iwakura and Akinori Egoshi as Sosuke Shima. The staff includes

Skip and Loafer follows Iwakura Mitsumi, whose dream is to enter a prestigious university and change the world. To do this, she moved to Tokyo and begins attending high school there. But, constantly preparing for everything that might go wrong also makes you very tense. Soon she meets Shima Sousuke, a (handsome) classmate who is very chill and manages to balance her out.
The manga started serialization in 2018 in Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine. Seven Seas is publishing the manga in English. The anime adaptation of Skip and Loafer was announced in November of last year.
