NieR:Automata anime revealed a preview for episode 1, which is set to premiere on January 7. Studio A-1 Pictures is animating the adaptation of the popular game. Ryouji Masuyama is directing the episode, doing the storyboard, and writing the script, while Jun Nakai is credited as the chief animation director and animation director for the episode.
The anime is titled NieR:Automata Ver1.1a and the staff includes:

Aimer is performing the opening theme song “escalate”, while amazarashi is singing the ending theme song “Antinomy.” Both songs were revealed in the recent trailer. The cast consists of:
