Bungo Stray Dogs Season 4 released a preview for the upcoming episode 3, titled “Secret of the Detective Agency’s Establishment.” The episode will be a continuation of Fukuzawa and Ranpo’s backstory. The episode synopsis teases how they stumble into a much bigger case than the one at the theater. Distracted by his success at solving the murder mystery, Ranpo gets kidnapped. Fukuzawa then asks a certain person for information he needs.
The next episode will air this Wednesday, at 23:00 JST. Crunchyroll and Bilibili are streaming it in select regions. See the episode’s preview images below:

Bungo Stray Dogs is based on a manga created by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa. It follows the story of a young man named Atsushi Nakajima who saves Osamu Dazai from a suicide attempt. He eventually learns that Dazai is a member of the “Armed Detective Agency,” and joins him. There, Atsushi discovers that the agency is staffed by individuals with supernatural abilities, solving mysteries and carrying out missions around Yokohama. Studio Bones is handling the animation of the series. The fourth season is set to have 13 episodes.
