The episode synopsis teases how Maple and her friends try the newest level of “New World Online” during the Christmas season. While Maple sees a guild master in disguise, Kasumi also finds a suspicious sword. The stress-free adventures of Maple begin once again!

The opening theme of the second season will be “Kono Tate ni Kakuremasu” (I Will Hide Behind this Shield) by Junjo no Afilia, while the ending theme will be “Step for Joy” by FRAM.

BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense (Itai no wa Iya nano de Bōgyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu) is a light novel series by Yumikan and Koin. It follows the story of Maple as she maxes out her defense stats in-game, eventually becoming one of the most unexpected and strongest players in the game.
