Celebrate the Holidays With David and Lucy From Cyberpunk: Edgerunners in Festive Visual by TRIGGER

The official Twitter account for the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime revealed a festive holiday visual drawn by studio TRIGGER, featuring the main duo David and Lucy. We can see David with a santa hat holding a bunch of presents, while Lucy is wearing David’s jacket and watching a rocket go off in the distance. You can see the visual below:

The staff for the anime includes Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren LagannKill la KillPromare) as the director, with Hiromi Wakabayashi (Kill la Kill) as the creative director. Yoh Yoshinari (Little Witch AcademiaBNA: Brand New Animal) was the character designer and animation director. Yoshiki Usa (GRIDMAN UNIVERSE series, Promare) and Masahiko Otsuka (Star Wars: Visions ‘The Elder’) were in charge of the adapted screenplay. The original score was composed by Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill series).

The main cast for the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime includes: Kenn as David Martinez and Aoi Yuuki as Lucy. The music video for the heartbreaking soundtrack from the anime “I Really Want to Stay At Your House” performed by Rosa Walton hit 2 million views on YouTube in under 2 weeks since it was uploaded. Netflix describes the story for the anime:
The series tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in Night City — a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he stays alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.
