The upcoming Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady anime revealed a new key visual, preview trailer, and additional cast on Monday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2023 and will be animated by studio Diomedéa (Parallel World Pharmacy).
The four new cast additions are Ai Kakuma as Illya Coral, Shogo Sakata as Algard von Palletia, Hina Yomiya as Lainie Cyan, and Yu Sasahara as Tilty Claret. All of the cast including Sayaka Senbongi as Anisphilia and Manaka Iwami as Euphyllia are featured in the latest visual and preview. The opening song of the anime “Arc-en-ciel” by HaNaTan can also be heard in the trailer.
Shingo Tamaki is directing the series with Wataru Watari writing on scripts and Nomi Ide doing the character designs. The TV anime is adapted from the light novel written by Peiro Karasu and illustrated by Yuri Kisaragi. Fujimo Shojo is publishing the light novel which currently has five volumes currently in circulation. A manga adaptation is illustrated by Harutsugu Nadaka and has been serialized in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Maoh which has four volumes at the moment. The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and Genius Young Lady previously unveiled its first key visual and trailer.

Yen Press is licensing both the light novel and manga in English and they described the plot as:
Despite her supposed ineptitude with regular magic, Princess Anisphia defies the aristocracy’s expectations by developing “magicology,” a unique magical theory based on memories from her past life. One day, she witnesses the brilliant noblewoman Euphyllia unjustly stripped of her title as the kingdom’s next monarch.
