Broccoli Lion’s isekai slice-of-life light novel series The Great Cleric is getting an anime adaptation. The format of the adaptation is a TV anime, but no further details have been revealed. The author’s comment is available:

Since I started writing the story, it has been published as a book, then as a comic book, and now as an anime… We hope that you will continue to support Luciel-kun as he works hard to stay positive.
Like many other light novels, The Great Cleric (Seija Muso) was first published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. It was acquired by Micro Magazine in 2016 and published under their GC Novels imprint with Sime’s illustrations. A manga adaptation by Hiiro Akikaze is being serialized on Niconico’s Suiyobi no Sirius platform. Light novel illustrator Sime and manga artist Hiiro Akikaze both drew celebratory illustrations to commemorate the announcement:
Kodansha’s Vertical licensed the manga in English, while J-Novel Club is publishing the light novel. JNC describes the plot as:
One moment, a certain salaryman is on cloud nine, that promotion finally within his grasp, and the next, he’s keeled over pain, and that was all she wrote. Luckily for him, fate had a bit more to say. A world of magic, monsters, and other such life-shortening entities await his newly reincarnated self for a second shot at life. With nothing but his past-life experiences and sharp business skills to guide him in the foreign lands of Galdardia, he takes up the name Luciel and vows that his (next) demise will be from naught but old age.
