The Bibliophile Princess anime adaptation has received a key visual ahead of its October 6 premiere. Studio Madhouse is in charge of the production, with Taro Iwasaki as the director. Watch the main trailer for the anime:

The cast for the Bibliophile Princess anime includes:
- Reina Ueda as Elianna
- Ryohei Kimura as Christopher
- Gen Sato as Alan
- Yuma Uchida as Glenn
- Koki Uchiyama as Alexei
- Wataru Hatano as Theodore
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Alfred
- Yohei Azakami as Irving
- Taku Yashiro as Jean
Besides Taro Iwasaki as the director, the main staff for Bibliophile Princess also includes Mizuka Takahashi as the character designer and Mitsutaka Hirota in charge of the series composition. Yui writes the original Bibliophile Princess light novel, with illustrations by Satsuki Shiina. It began serialization in Ichijinsha Bunko Iris Neo magazine in 2016. J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and the manga adaptation in English, and they describe the story:
When book-loving Lady Elianna spots Prince Christopher—her betrothed in name only—consorting with another noble lady, she realizes the recent rumors must be true. The prince has someone he truly loves, which means the annulment of their engagement is both inevitable and fast-approaching.
