The upcoming Arknights: Prelude to Dawn anime revealed seven new visuals that feature some of the beloved characters from the game who will also appear in the adaptation. The anime is slated to premiere on October 28. In addition to the visuals, more cast has been revealed (in italics). The visuals feature:
- Doctor (Yuki Kaida)
- Doberman and Nearl (Atsumi Tanezaki, Ayane Sakura)
- Liskarm and Franka (Yui Ishikwa, Ai Kakuma)
- Kal’tsit and Amiya (Yoko Hikasa, Tomoyo Kurosawa)
- Ace, Guard and Medic (Takashi Matsuyama, Chiaki Kobayashi, Momo Asakura)
- Texas and Exusiai (Azusa Tadakoro, Manaka Iwami)
- Wei Yenwu, Ch’en and Hoshiguma (Koichi Yamadera, Shizuka Ishigami, Kiyono Yasuno)
Studio Yostar Pictures is animating the adaptation of the highly popular game, with Yuki Watanabe as the director and Masataka Nishikawa as the assistant director. Hypergryph and Studio Montagne are listed as the original creators. Aya Takafuji is in charge of the character designs. The third trailer was recently revealed:
The official website describes the plot of the game as:
Take on the role of a key member of Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company that fights both a deadly infection and the unrest it leaves in its wake. Together with your leader Amiya, you’ll recruit Operators, train them, then assign them to various operations to protect the innocent and resist those who would thrust the world into turmoil.
