On Sunday, Kadokawa announced the main cast and October premiere for the “1st season” of the anime adaptation of Akira Amano’s manga, Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective (Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri) Revealed.

Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective Anime Staff
The anime will be directed by Shōta Ihata (known for Girlish Number and The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent) and produced by diomedéa. Wataru Watari, who wrote both the light novel and anime scripts for Girlish Number, will oversee the series scripts, while Masakazu Ishikawa (known for Squid Girl and The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent) will adapt the character designs for animation. The music will be composed by Yo Tsuji (known for Miss Hokusai) at Kadokawa.
Amano originally launched the manga on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website and app in October 2020, and the ninth volume is set to be published on January 4 by Shueisha. Amano is also known for creating the Reborn! manga, which was adapted into a television anime series and stage plays, as well as the ēlDLIVE manga, which was adapted into a television anime series and published in English by Viz Media.
