Japanese Singer LiSA Announced Birth of Her First Child

LiSA, the popular anime song singer, surprised her fans on Tuesday when she announced on her Instagram account that she had given birth to her first child. Despite not previously announcing her pregnancy and not taking a formal hiatus, LiSA expressed her excitement about delivering her music with her newfound “power-up.” She thanked her fans for their continued support and shared that it was a good day for her.

LiSA rose to fame in 2010 when she sang in the Angel Beats! anime as part of the in-story band Girls Dead Monster. She made her solo debut in 2011 with the album Letters to U, and since then, she has performed theme songs for numerous popular anime such as Fate/Zero, il sole penetra le illusioni ~ Day Break Illusion, Sword Art Online, My Hero Academia, and more. Her recent songs for Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, its television anime version Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc, and Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night have broken various records.

In addition to her successful music career, LiSA announced her marriage to voice actor Tatsuhisa Suzuki in January 2020. With her new role as a mother, LiSA is looking forward to continuing her musical journey and asks for her fans’ continued support. Her “LiVE is Smile Always” concert tour is also scheduled from September to December later this year, showcasing her unwavering dedication to her music and fans.
