Today marks the conclusion of Season 4 of the Bungo Stray Dogs anime, and to follow up, the official series accounts have unveiled an exciting new trailer. The trailer reveals that Season 5 of the anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2023. Additionally, a fresh key visual was released in conjunction with the announcement.

Bungo Stray Dogs Main Staff
Director Takuya Igarashi, series script supervisor and writer Yoji Enokido, character designer and chief animation director Nobuhiro Arai, and animation studio BONES are among the returning main staff for the upcoming season. Additionally, the main cast members, including Yūto Uemura (Atsushi Nakajima), Mamoru Miyano (Osamu Dazai), Sumire Morohoshi (Kyōka Izumi), Kensho Ono (Ryūnosuke Akutagawa), and Kishō Taniyama (Chūya Nakahara), are set to reprise their roles. The anime’s opening song, “True Story,” will be performed by SCREEN mode, while the ending song, “Shirushi/°C,” will be performed by Luck Life.
Bungo Stray Dogs, originally created by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa in manga form, has been adapted into three seasons that aired between 2016 and 2019. In addition to the anime, a film called Bungo Stray Dogs – DEAD APPLE was released in 2018. A spin-off series titled Bungo Stray Dogs WAN! also aired in 2021. For English-speaking audiences, both the manga and light novel adaptations are published by Yen Press.
