This anime series is a continuation of the original Bleach anime adaptation from 2004, focusing solely on adapting the final arc of the manga series, which was not covered in the first adaptation.
Fans are excited about the series, even though the second cour is not set to release until July 2023. The encore broadcast for the first cour will run for 13 episodes without any breaks, with the final episode airing on June 25, suggesting that the second cour will not be released until mid-July at the earliest.
While no exact release date has been confirmed, it is unlikely that new material for the series will be released before mid-July, as the encore broadcast dates support this timeline. The recent announcement of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2’s official release date as July 6, 2023, at Anime Japan 2023 also suggests a release date for the second cour of Bleach: TYBW in the latter half of July.
